...I should try drinking a bit - just a glass or two of wine (maybe a bottle) - before I start any background quilting. 
I am so wigged-out by not wanting it to turn out badly, that I am unnerving myself, and consequently it manifests as some very rigid FMQ -- and I can do so much better than that!
However, I am going to carry on and pretend I don't dislike what I've already done, and maybe I will loosen up as I move forward from here. What do you think?
